Santiago Seage, Chief Executive Officer, Abengoa Solar
Santiago is the CEO of Abengoa Solar, Abengoa’s solar power business. Abengoa Solar develops its own technology, designs and operates large solar power plants. Currently Abengoa Solar has around 500 megawatts (MW) in operation, including the first two commercial solar power towers worldwide, close to 1000MW under construction and many more under development around the world.
Santiago was formerly the responsible for Strategy and Corporate Development of Abengoa. Abengoa is a 6 billion euros technology company very active in renewable energy, water, recycling and other businesses around sustainable development.
Before joining Abengoa Santiago was a partner with McKinsey & Company. He started his career working for Procter & Gamble in Spain and the Middle East.
Santiago has a business degree from Icade University.
