Volunteer Opportunities

Get involved and make a difference

The nonprofit American Solar Energy Society needs your help to create a sustainable energy economy. During this time of rising energy prices and increasing risk from climate change, you can make a difference by getting involved and volunteering a little bit of your time.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

ORGANIZE A SOLAR TOUR: Bring the world’s largest solar energy event to your neighborhood by getting involved with the ASES National Solar Tour. This is one of the most powerful ways to make a difference, build community, and have fun. We’ll show you how to get started. Contact us to learn more: tour@ases.org

SOLAR 2012 HELP NEEDED: Help make the 41st annual ASES conference, the World Renewable Energy Forum in Denver, Colorado, a success. Dozens of volunteers are needed to help with all aspects of this conference. More information coming soon.

OFFICE HELP NEEDED: If you happen to live near Boulder, Colo., volunteers are needed to help at the ASES headquarters with a variety of general office-related activities. Contact Patty Michaels to learn more: accounting@ases.org
