Bio:  Veera Gnaneswar Gude serves as the chair of the Clean Energy and Water Division since 2011. He received his Ph.D in environmental engineering from the New Mexico State University with a dissertation focusing on low temperature desalination. Currently, he is assistant professor of civil engineering at Missisippi State University. His research interests include low temperature desalination, renewable energy and waste heat utilization in desalination, algal bio-fuel production and sustainability. He has over 10 years of industrial and research experience on various chemical and environmental engineering projects. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New Mexico, USA.
