The ASES Annual Conference, Solar 2013, will take place mid-April in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the longest running solar conference series in America for solar energy professionals.

·January 14-February 24, 2013: Basic Photovoltaics (Solar Electricity) Online

MREA will host this six-week online course where participants will learn the basics of solar electric systems. This is an online course and will require participants to attend an online webinar for each week of the course.

·January 28-March 24, 2013: Solar Thermal System Conceptual Design Online

MREA will host this online course where participants will explore system design considerations, including collector sizing and configuration, pipe sizing, component sizing, solar fluid estimation, heat storage, heat delivery, code considerations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

·February 11-March 10, 2013: Advancements in PV Online

MREA will host this online course where participants will be brought up-to-date on the newest equipment and techniques used in PV installation. This includes the latest gear (modules, inverters, charge controllers, mounting structures, disconnection means, etc.) and the newest, most efficient, and safest methods for installing PV systems that meet NEC code.

·February 25-March 24, 2013: PV Site Assessor Training Online

MREA will host this four-week online course where participants will learn how to perform a PV site assessment for a home or small business. This is an online course and will require participants to attend an online webinar for each week of the course.

MREA will host this six-week online course where participants will learn the basics of wind electric systems. This is an online course and will require participants to attend an online webinar for each week of the course.
