The Heartland Solar Tour is a guided tour across southern Illinois, featuring some of the most energy efficient homes in the area, as well as showcasing renewable energy projects and installations. These will include solar PV electric systes, solar direct (hot water, etc.), geothermal, and more.

The tour will be (tentatively) leaving from the Paul Simon Federal Building located off of S. 51 in Carbondale, Illinois. Advanced Energy Solutions Group, Inc. is providing a roomy van for making the tour stops, but you are welcome to take your own vehicle.

All tour participants must register before-hand and meet at the Paul Simon Federal Building in order to participate in the tour. We hope to see you there!
