Open to the public for the fifth year, this award winning all-electric home is a popular MidWest destination on the National Solar Tour.

Grid-tied all electric solar home integrates passive solar design; airtight envelope (insulated concrete forms, spray form insulation, Ice House Roof, energy recovery ventilator); solar hot water; Energy Star appliances; CFLs; efficient wood burning fireplace; sun tunnel; and 3 KwH photovoltaics with backup batteries.
