A Greener Conference is a Better Conference

Most of you come to our conference to network with your community: participate in efforts to green SOLAR 2008 and you'll find yourself making more connections.

We're taking steps to run a greener event.  Some of those steps depend on you!

Carpool or find a travel companion
If you drive, share the ride and fill every seat of your car, or rely on your neighbor and leave your car at home. If you fly, use the flight time to connect with other renewable energy professionals or advocates in your city, or share the ride from the airport to the conference.  Being environmentally conscious can help us all transform the journey to the conference into part of our conference.

Find a roommate
Use less energy and save money too! Rooms at the Town and Country are spacious, airy and most have their own balconies. Share all of this luxury (and the electricity you'll use) with a compatible roommate.
