Transportation to Solar 2008 Public Days

On the Public Days, May 3rd and 4th, large crowds are expected that will exceed the hotel parking facilities.  Therefore, attendees are advised to take public transportation to the event.

Public Transportation

If you arrive by public transportation, you will receive a dollar off the five dollar admission price by showing your transportation ticket!

The San Diego Trolley and several buses serve the Fashion Valley Transit Center, which is a five minute walk from the entrance to the conference center.

Parking

The hotel has on-site parking for $3 per hour or $12 per day.  It is likely that this parking will be full early in the day if crowds are as expected.

Do NOT park at the Fashion Valley Mall; as of this posting we do not have permission for attendees to park there and cars may be ticketed.

Qualcomm Stadium on Friar’s Road has thousands of free parking spaces, and the Trolley Ride from the stadium to the Town and Country is about 10 minutes.  Attendees will get a dollar off the Public Day registration fee by showing their transportation ticket
