<p>Mayor Michael Hancock today officially welcomed the World Renewable Energy Forum (WREF) to Denver.</p>
<p>Speaking outside the Colorado Convention Center, the Mayor outlined Denver&#8217;s growing role as a manufacturing center for renewable energy industries, and the city&#8217;s aggressive programs to promote domestic and commercial energy efficiency.</p>

<p>WREF 2012 comes to the Convention Center on May 13-17.</p>
