Tour Description: One-hour tour of private residence in suburban Atlanta showcasing
energy efficiency, solar electricity, solar pool heating and heat pump for home heating. The
property is one of the first few houses in Georgia to take advantage of the net meting law and
sells green electricity to Georgia Power.

Directions will be given for the home located in the Sandy Springs area close to GA
400, Exit 6. Tours take place at 10am, 11am and 12 noon and will last 60 minutes.
Because numbers are limited, attendees must state which tour they wish to go on in
advance. For those traveling by public transport (MARTA), attendees will be picked up
at North Springs rail station 15 minutes before their allotted tour time. Please advise if
you want to be picked up. A social event for GSEA members will take place
immediately after the last tour finishes at 1.15 pm. |
