Tour Description:
Make
Plans to attend Lawrence's 6th Annual Home Energy Conservation Fair
and Sustainable Homes Tour! Exhibitors at the fair will include
energy-minded architects, appliance vendors, heating, cooling and
insulation consultants, and builders/remodelers. Also on display
will be examples of alternatively fueled/high economy vehicles.
Speakers and workshops will be scheduled throughout the day. The
Douglas County Sustainable Homes Tour will feature several local
homes with unique, efficient design or retrofit. Buses leave from
the Fair at 10 AM and 2PM.
Tour Fee:
$6 Adult
or free with HRES membership
How to Take this Tour: Buses leave from the Douglas County Fairgrounds,
Building 21 at 10AM and 2PM.
