Tour Description:
The Cleveland Solar Tour features a guided tour of 8 sites along with dozens of sites available to the public with open house hours. The guided tour will begin and end at the Great Lakes Brewing Company on the near west side from 9 am to 6 pm.
Tour Fee: Free for Open House & $10 for Guided Tour that includes lunch.

East of Cleveland Tour

Tour Description: All tour sites are open for the public to make personal visits, in any order, during their open hours, but GEO is also offering guided bus tours. The bus tour begins at Lake Metroparks Farmpark, 8800 Chardon Road, Kirtland, at 9am with a presentation on renewable energy. After a tour of the wind and solar installations at the metropark, the tour will travel to five sites that showcase solar, wind, geothermal, and a large number of other renewable/conservation/ecological features. The bus will return to Lake Farmpark at 4:30 pm.

Oberlin Tour

Tour Description: The Oberlin Area Solar Tour will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2006. It will be a guided tour, starting at the Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies (AJLC) at 1:15 pm. You may choose to participate in your own vehicle, or right along an available seat in the carpool. There may also be a separate shuttle available, depending on demand. There is free parking available at the AJLC on the day of the event. If you would like a seat in a shuttle vehicle, or if you have any questions about the tour, please contact Amy Burgess at amyrenee@alum.mit.edu or call at (440) 574-1596.
