Tour Description: The Gainesville Solar Tour will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2007 from 1pm to 5pm.  The tour will begin at the University of Florida's Energy Research and Education Park at 2610 SW 23rd Terrace.  It will showcase several "Greening My Life" testimonies, then interactive solar thermal, electric, and other green technology demonstrations such as a hybrid vehicle and the solar powered ASES Trike, and finally a tour of local homes and businesses implementing solar thermal or electric systems or other sustainable practices.  Activities will also be available for children during the energy park portion.  Hope to see you there!
