Tour Description: This year's tour will focus on
energy efficiency, renewable energy, and active solar
installations. With tours of a biodiesel plant, passive
solar homes, and active solar installations, this years
event should have something for everyone!
Tour Fee: $5 for ASES/Sunrise members, $10-15 for
non-member
How to Take this Tour:
Individuals need to buy tickets and be at the CVIC Hall
in Minden at 1602 Esmerelda by 9:00 AM on the day of the
tour. Tickets will be on sale at the Sustainable Living
& Renewable Energy Roundup on August 11-12, at retail
establishments in Northern Nevada, and on the day of the
tour.

Tour Description: The purpose of this event is to
increase public awareness about the benefits of clean,
renewable solar energy, water and energy efficiency,
alternative transportation, healthier indoor
environments and green buildings.

tour makes a huge positive difference in our community!

Tour Description: Tour will last 2-3 hours on 25
September. Items to see include: solar space heating,
domestic hot water heating, therapy pool heating, solar
electric power panels (32 on fixed mounts, 64 on
dual-axis trackers), wind power generation; energy
conversion and connection to the grid, and battery
back-up power.
