WREF 2012 was a global gathering of renewable energy experts from 54 countries and 49 states. The plenary sessions brought speakers from around the world including Santiago Seage of Abengoa Solar and Altwajri and Abdelaziz Othman Altwaijri of ISESCO, Edward Mazria of Architecture 2030.  WREF 2012 also saw U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu speak, a first for an ASES conference.
