Alta Devices has achieved 30.8 percent efficiency, confirmed by National Renewable Energy Laboratory testing, with the first implementation of a dual-junction solar cell technology that augments the company’s “single junction” technology. The company has developed very thin and flexible cells to power mobile devices.
