American Solar Energy Society Kids Art Contest Details
We invite you to participate in the ASES Kids Art Contest for a chance to be featured in the 2021 ASES Wall Calendar! This is a great opportunity to show your passion for the environment and renewable energy through visual art.
- All primary and secondary level (K-12) students are encouraged to submit.
- Artwork can depict but is not limited to, the sun, wind or solar energy, recycling, or the natural environment.
- The ASES Board of Directors will choose the most creative art pieces which demonstrate renewable energy or sustainable living. Cash prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place: $250
- 2nd Place: $150
- 3rd Place: $100
- Additionally, the top 4 works per age group will be featured in the 2021 American Solar Energy Society Calendar, and many more will be presented at the 2021 ASES Solar Conference at the University of Colorado Boulder.
- Send your visual art piece along with your name, hometown, and grade.
- Artwork will be judged in three categories: Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Submit a high-resolution (at least 150 dpi) full-size JPEG by November 25th. We encourage you to email the image to info@ases.org, but we will also accept mail-in submissions to ASES, 2525 Arapahoe Ave. Suite E4-253, Boulder, CO 80302
- Wall calendars will be available with a qualifying donation at the end of the year!
